Brian Frank, MS, ATC, PTA

Brian received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education/Exercise Science from Occidental College in 1986 and became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1988. In 1991 he earned his Master's degree in Sports Medicine at Chapman University. Two years later, he became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

Before coming to ProSport, Brian spent 12 years working in a variety of sports medicine environments. He began his career at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Long Beach, California, working in an outpatient orthopaedic clinic. From 1990 to 1995, he worked in the Anaheim Memorial Hospital's sports medicine program, serving as the athletic trainer at Anaheim, Katella and Loara high schools. During this time, Brian was also the Head Athletic Trainer for the Anaheim Bullfrogs professional roller hockey team, and he worked as a game night Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Anaheim Ducks.

After one year at Cerritos College as a Co-Head Athletic Trainer, Brian spent two years at Sports Med-Irvine Physical Therapy. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the California Athletic Trainers’ Association (CATA), and has attended many continuing education courses on manual therapy techniques.
