Cassie Anido-Butts, DPT |
 |
Cassie’s first experience at ProSport was in 1994 as an injured level 9 competitive gymnast. Cassie recovered from a number of injuries, thanks to the ProSport team. Joe was always there for her throughout her athletic career and inspired her from these positive experiences to become a P.T. herself. After getting her Biomedical Engineering Degree at the University of Virginia, Cassie then worked as an aide at the Rancho Santa Margarita clinic for the summer before beginning PT school. She went to the University of Southern California and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2008. While in school, she did clinical internships at USC, St. Vincent’s Hospital, CA Child Services, Health South in Palo Alto, and Prosport Physical Therapy, as well as participated in small group manual therapy seminars. She began working at ProSport a few months after graduation, at our Newport clinic. In her free time she likes to go for a long run, stand up paddle surfing with her husband, and flying aerobatic airplanes.
