Laura Scott, MPT

Laura started with ProSport Physical Therapy in May 2009 as a student intern at the Rancho Santa Margarita clinic.  After receiving her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 2009, she joined the Newport Beach team.  While at Long Beach State, she received Dean’s Honor List Award (given to three graduate students for the highest level of honors) as well as led her class as Physical Therapy Class President and PT Club Liaison.  Laura earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with the option in Exercise Science from the California State University, Long Beach in 2007. There she was a member of the Long Beach State Division I Women’s Soccer Team.  Prior to working at ProSport, Laura participated in numerous clinical internships including: Health South Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Tustin, Tichenor Orthopaedic Clinic for Children in Long Beach, and seniors Choice Physical Therapy at Leisure World in Seal Beach.  Laura is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and enjoys playing soccer and hiking with her husband.
