As of April 2006 ProSport has completed its renovations with a “new look” and more space. Please stop by and take a tour!
2 new therapists who have joined our team over the past year: Jay Villareal and Ray Roman. They will share their time between Mater Dei High School and ProSport - Newport Beach. Can we get a “1-clap” each for Jay and Ray?!
Community Activities
ProSport makes every effort to stay active in our community through various service activities. Let’s recap:
* December 2006 * In the spirit of the Holiday Season, we adopted a family through “Share Ourselves” in Costa Mesa. To extend the spirit of giving to those less fortunate, we invited our patients to participate in “Be The Miracle”(Olive Crest, Santa Ana) and support children and families in need. A big thank you to those of you who participated with us.
And currently:
* February 2007 * For the 5th year in a row, ProSport Physical Therapy has been a sponsor of the Pacific Shoreline Marathon in Huntington Beach. Along with doctors, nurses and athletic trainers, ProSport employees provide Medical Aid to runners at various stations along the course.
* June 2007 * ProSport is the “Official Home of the Anaheim Ducks”. Our leader, Joe Donohue has provided the team with his expertise in physical therapy again this year. Congratulations Anaheim Ducks on winning the coveted Stanley Cup!
* June 2007 * For 5 years running, ProSport employees have banded together to form teams to represent us at the Camp Pendleton Mud Run. Congratulations to “The Lords Cheeps”: Christina, Heidi, Jay, Kathy and Erich for completing the challenging course this year!
* June 23-24, 2007 * ProSport Physical Therapy is proud to sponsor local runner Doug Hansen in his 4th Annual Angel’s Run in honor of his daughter (Angel) who was born with severe birth defects and not expected to live. Amazingly, Angel is turning 6 this summer. For the 2nd year in a row, ProSport is honored to donate our facility and equipment to Doug who will run continuously on our treadmill for 24 hours to raise money for children with special needs. Stop by ProSport-Newport Beach and give Doug some support during these very special 24 hours. * July 1, 2007 * ProSport Physical Therapy and our newest therapist, Ray Roman who started a non-profit organization, Netz 4 Life (www.netz4life.org) are joining forces to field a co-ed softball team. Their first outing will be participating in a tournament sponsored by the City of Santa Ana to benefit Pio Pico Elementary After School Programs. For more information please visit: www.netz4life.org
