Growing up in Southern California, Greg had a love for sports and competition. He grew up playing basketball and football eventually focusing on football at Mater Dei High School and was elected captain his senior year. After High School he joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served for five years working in Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue. He is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and was awarded two Coast Guard Achievement Medals during his time in service.
After his Honorable Discharge from the Coast Guard he began his undergraduate education and earned a degree in Kinesiology from Chapman University. During his time at Chapman he worked as a physical therapy aide and sports performance coach at the ProSport facility in Rancho Santa Margarita and earned qualifications as a CPT and USAW Level 1 trainer.
Continuing on his path to become a physical therapist, he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Austin, Texas at University of St. Augustine. During PT school, he was given ‘The Professionalism’ award, nominated by his classmates. Greg met his beautiful fiancé Katherine, who is also a Physical Therapist while earning his Doctorate in Austin. They now live in Huntington Beach where they enjoy surfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
