John is originally from Corona del Mar, CA.  John played baseball at Champman University and majored in physiology. He is a Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Professional. He is currently working with and consulting for players on the UC Riverside and La Verne University golf teams, and The Asian Developmental Tour.

His expertise is in rehabilitation, mobility/flexibility, injury prevention, and using movement assessments to reduce pain/injury in order to maximize a player’s performance.

 

John’s work with his collegiate players involves developing individualized flexibility/mobility and joint/body stability protocols, in conjunction with strength and dynamic movement programs.  He has also provides customized fitness programs for beginning golfers, juniors, and the average weekend warrior. John also works with Tyler Miller, Director of Instruction at Bear Creek Country club in Murrieta, CA., helping Tyler’s golfers become better athletes.

Before starting with ProSport Golf Performance, John was an independent performance coach for 10 years working with collegiate golfers, tennis and baseball players. In addition to his rehabilitation and golf knowledge, John enjoys studying the body dynamics and kinematic sequences of the golf swing.

 

When not training golfers, John loves spending time with his wife, Elsa, and son, Jaden at Tory Burch and Legoland.
