Hometown: Chico, CA
Bachelor's Degree: University California, Irvine - Psychology
Master's Degree: University of Washington - Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership Program
Graduate Degree: Chapman University - Doctorate Physical Therapy

Kelly first discovered her passion for physical therapy after injuring her shoulder playing high school basketball.  After her first shoulder surgery she was introduced to PT and realized just how resilient the human body is and how much she loved learning about it. She had an incredible therapist who demonstrated that physical therapy encompassed the three things she loved most: helping people, the human body, and sports.

Growing up, Kelly was a three-sport athlete who attributes her love for sports to her unique family upbringing as the daughter of a Division-I baseball coach. Raised between two brothers who both played college and professional baseball, Kelly excelled in multiple high school sports before accepting a basketball scholarship to the University of California, Irvine.

Kelly completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from UC Irvine while playing Division I basketball in the Big West Conference. During her four years, Kelly broke multiple school and conference records as a captain for the Anteaters, while spending countless hours in the training room battling ongoing shoulder injuries. After graduating from UCI in 2014, Kelly enrolled at the University of Washington to pursue a master’s degree in UW’s Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership program. While completing her masters she exhausted her 5th year of NCAA eligibility as a member of the nationally ranked Husky Softball team before graduating with honors in 2015. Following her master’s degree Kelly pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University where she graduated with Academic Excellence in August of 2020. During Physical Therapy school Kelly found a passion for running, completing her first three marathons in addition to pursuing her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification in 2019. Kelly completed her final clinical rotation as a student at ProSport where she quickly fell in love with the team atmosphere, the world class facilities, and of course her inspiring patients. Kelly then gladly accepted a position with the ProSport team in November of 2020.

Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends and leads a very active lifestyle. She is forever grateful for the physical therapists who impacted her life in such a positive way and hopes to continually pay it forward through her work at ProSport.  Kelly prides herself on her work-ethic and her ongoing commitment to her patients, a quality she attributes to her beautiful mother who has been a healthcare worker for over 35 years.
