Keri Swanson - BS, CPT, Return-to-Life Coach
Hometown: Long Beach, CA
Bachelor's Degree: Vanguard University - Kinesiology
Keri found ProSport in March of 2018, starting as a sports performance intern. After completing her internship, Keri pursued and gained a certification in personal training (CPT) and is now studying for her CSCS exam. She works both as a Return to Life coach, with patients that are transitioning out of their physical therapy treatment, as well as a physical therapy aide in the clinic. Under the mentorship of our performance directors, Keri is also working as a sports performance coach with our ProSport athletes. Keri’s passion and enthusiasm allows her to help all clients perform at their highest levels and develop an excitement for recovery.
Keri graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California in December 2016. While studying, Keri completed two internships as a physical therapy aide for two separate clinics in Orange County. Throughout her studies, Keri enjoyed learning the fundamental mechanics of human body movement and discovered her heart to help others in their recovery journey.
During her college years, Keri also coached the varsity cheerleading squad at Brethren Christian Jr./Sr. High School in Huntington Beach, CA. Over the course of her five-year coaching career, Keri developed a passion for pushing athletes to perform at their highest level. Watching her cheerleaders grow as individuals and as a team helped Keri to recognize her desire to pursue coaching full-time.
