Robert is the co-founder and co-owner of ProSport Performance. He joined ProSport Physical Therapy in May 2002 after graduating from the Department of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

 

A native of Sweden, Robert came to the United States to pursue an undergraduate education and play collegiate soccer at California Lutheran University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine in 1998.

 

Robert is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and Certified Sports Performance Coach (USAW) by USA Weightlifting. He has been the ProSport PT clinic director since 2003 and is involved in clinical research and education through the University of Southern California, as well as serving as the Center Coordinator for Clinical Education.

 

Robert’s primary interest is rehabilitation and prevention of injuries in athletes, as well as optimizing sports performance through proper movement patterns. Robert resides in Rancho Santa Margarita with his wife and children and enjoys coaching and playing soccer, surfing, skiing and yoga.
