Zach Leal - PT, DPT, CSCS
Hometown: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Bachelor's Degree: Clemson University – Psychology
Graduate Degree: New York University - Doctorate Physical Therapy

Zach spent most of his childhood pursing a baseball career. During that pursuit, he was also interested in the training and rehabilitation side of the sport. Once he decided to go all in with his education, physical therapy school was the best route knowing that he could do both training and rehab with athletes. Prior to getting into PT school, he was a strength coach at

Performance Fitness for Athletes for 7 years under former Major Leaguer Dave Coggin, getting introduced working with high caliber athletes and gaining experience in the strength and conditioning world.

Zach has had a scenic route through his education completing his undergraduate degree at Clemson University then onto New York University for physical therapy school. While at Clemson University pursing his degree in Psychology, he also worked as an equipment manager for the baseball team. At NYU, he was a recipient for the Robert Salant Memorial Scholarship and graduating with honors. Also, before graduation, becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to further the education level of his strength and conditioning background.

His interest in sports medicine and training was solidified after finishing a clinical rotation at Champion PT and Performance in Boston, MA. Due to his love for that environment, sports medicine, performance training, and helping an active population, he decided ProSport was the best fit for him.

He looks to continue to combine his passions for training and rehabilitation to help his patients return to whatever unique goals they have for their lifestyle.

In his free time, Zach loves to fitness competitively, enjoy a good cup of coffee, try new restaurants, hitting the golf course, and hanging out with friends and family.
