UPDATE: Coronavirus (COVID-19) 3/16/20 7:00p

To Our Valued Patients/Clients:
Your ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance team is mindful to do our part to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. In doing so, we are following the guidelines of the federal and California state government for the “15 Days to Slow the Spread” program by doing the following:
For Physical Therapy:
• We are screening all patients for recent travel to areas known to have cases
of the Coronavirus (Covid-19)
• We ask that if you are a person with a serious underlying health condition
that can put you at increased risk (for example, a condition that impairs your
lung or heart function or weakens your immune system), stay home and away
from other people
• We are contacting all patients 65 years and older and requesting that they
stay home and reschedule their appointments for a later date
• Our physical therapists are working on a case-by-case bases for patients to
offer guidance for in-home physical therapy care
• We continue to disinfect all surfaces and equipment before and after each
patient encounter through our on-going protocol of our “wash-in wash-out”
program
For Sport Performance Training:
• We are working on a modified schedule and will post a new schedule no later
than Friday, March 20th
• We are instituting “social distancing” and therefore are reducing the
exposure and limiting the group sizes to a maximum of 6 participants per
1-hour class
• Private and semi-private training will continue as scheduled
• To ensure we are within the CDC, federal and California state guidelines, we
are asking all clients 65 years and older to stay at home until further notice
• To ensure a spot in a class, you must go on to MINDBODY and reserve your
spot. If you come in without signing up beforehand, and the class is at
capacity, you will not be able to participate
• If you have any symptoms that resemble a cold, you will not be able to
participate in classes
• To ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend a class, we will be limiting
sign ups to a maximum of two classes per week
We will continue to work to improve these processes and makes adjustments where needed. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we all work to do our part to slow the spread of the Coronavirus.
The CDC has the most current information about the virus, including everything you need to know about how the virus spreads, how it’s treated, how to protect yourself, and what to do if you get sick. Stay on top of the latest by visiting the CDC website, which is being updated frequently.
Yours in good health,
Your ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance Team
