What is BFR and How Does it Benefit You?


It is a training method done by wrapping a tourniquet around the top portion of one’s upper limb. The wrap restricts blood flow to working muscles and limits the blood flow to the limb.


Why use BFR??

The restriction results in physiological changes and significantly more stress that mimic changes associated with high intensity exercise. The results are gains in muscle size and strength.


Great for patients who cannot tolerate heavy resistance due to decondition, strength loss, muscle atrophy from surgery or injury.

Make sure you are using BFR training safely and with appropriate providers.
