Todd is the co-founder and co-owner of ProSport Performance. He is a certified personal trainer and coach, who has been training clients and athletes of all ages since 1996. A Montana native, Todd turned down numerous basketball and football scholarships, and accepted a track and field scholarship to Fresno State University in order to pursue his Olympic dream. While at Fresno State in 1994, he won the NCAA Championship with a national collegiate record in the Javelin Throw. Later, Todd reached the pinnacle of his athletic career and became a two-time U.S. Olympian. After retiring as a world-class athlete, he accepted a job at CSU Long Beach where he coached the Men’s and Women’s Javelin teams as well as developed all Throws teams’ strength and conditioning programs. Since 2006, Todd has focused his coaching on elite athletes at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, coaching the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trial Gold medalist and 2009 World Champion finalist.

Todd also coaches youth and Masters level athletes. Before opening ProSport Performance with Robert, he owned a successful personal training and coaching business, but establishing a sports performance training facility has been his ultimate career goal. He is a Certified Sports Performance Coach (USAW) by USA Weightlifting. Todd’s training philosophy is based on long term periodization using training protocols that he has developed with the goal of progressing athletes according to their ages and ability. Todd has a son, Nathan, and daughter, Carly. His favorite pastime is fishing.
